AME Case Reports Adopts Bimonthly Frequency from January 2026

Published: 2025-12-30

To better serve the global community and accommodate a rising volume of high-quality submissions, AME Case Reports (ACR) will transition from quarterly to bimonthly publication, effective January 2026. The regular publication months will be January, March, May, July, September, November.

This strategic decision underscores the journal's rapid growth and influence since its launch in September 2017. The increased frequency is a direct response to the sustained support from authors and the academic community, ensuring that pivotal, practice-changing research reaches readers and practitioners with minimal delay after acceptance.

AME Case Reports (ACR, AME Case Rep, Online ISSN: 2523-1995) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal publishing original and educationally valuable case reports in all medical disciplines. ACR has been indexed by PubMed/PubMed Central (PMC) and Web of Science [Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)]. ACR received its impact factor of 0.7 for the year 2024. The journal aims to provide clinical information on common and rare cases for healthcare professionals, researchers and others.
